This Day Is A Gift
Our Lord has given us another day
To forgive the wounds of yesterday
Come, let us enjoy His embrace
To show that we deserve His Grace.
Oh Lord, another day you have made
Blessing earth with sun and clouds to shade
May this day be one of sharing great love
To honor you dear Lord, in heaven above.
May all enjoy the gift of this beautiful day
Forgetting frustrations, and let them slip away
Using this day to do our very best
Praying for your blessings as we seek rest.
We know that we have been blest indeed
For each and every day that we receive
Now, as we kneel beside our bed to pray
Giving love and thanks, oh Lord, for this day.
