The silence of the valley
Brings such peace to me.
I wish that you were here
Sharing this place with me.
I saw a pretty butterfly,
I wish you could see her too.
I watched as she fluttered by,
She reminded me so much of you.
Beautiful and graceful as can be
She was as she passed by my way.
She seemed to stop for a moment
As if she had something to say.
Then suddenly she was off again,
Now she is long gone from my view,
But the memory of her is still with
Me as are all of my memories of you.
I miss you very much.
