A Special Place
In early morning I have a special place I go,
My Lord will meet me there I know.
I will tell him all I see and feel,
My Lord is alive and very real.
This special place was created with love.
I see flowers, butterflies, and even a dove.
The evils of the world seem to subside
As His gentle spirit enters my heart inside.
The sun is rising, so I will kneel and pray,
Thanking my Lord for this new day
For guiding me to this special place
And giving thanks for His loving grace.
