My backyard garden faces the sea
A quite place to relax for me
Here I can sit for hours in the shade
Looking at the marvels God has made.

My backyard garden is the perfect place
Where I can slow down from my fast pace
Among the lovely flowers I find release
My garden is a place of delightful peace.

I see lovely white clouds floating up high
I watch as seagulls soar across the sky
The old lighthouse her beacon flashing still
Standing so proud above the rocks on the hill.

In my backyard garden this beautiful day
I feel blessed that I am free to kneel and pray
I thank God for this lovely place
And for His wonderful love and grace.
