A moonlight night shining so bright
Fills my heart with such delight
Casting shadows across the sea
Everything is as quiet as can be.
A moonlight night gives me peace inside
Such beauty only God could provide
Gazing around at the wonder I see
I am thankful to be happy and free.
This moonlight night will soon fade away
Now it is time for me to kneel and pray
To thank God for such a beautiful sight
And blessing me this moonlight night.
