It’s wintertime,
Snow here and there,
With beauty only
Mother Nature can bring.
My feet and nose are froze
But what do you suppose,
It is time yet to haul out
My canopy swing?
Not yet I hear you say,
It will come another day.
Until then I'll trudge through
The slush while I sing.
But can I ask once more,
While I shovel a path
To my front door, how many
More days until SPRING!?
