Our ship is loaded and headed for home
Over the seas we have roamed
Full sails billow in winds that blow
The set of the sails tells the way our ship will go.



As we sail along over the deep blue sea
God is captain of our ship, you see
And the crew gets a chance to rest
Our ship is in the hands of the very best



Soon a lighthouse we will see
Flashing a bright light over the sea
Without God as our captain
Where would our ship be.



As our ship sails toward the shore
We realize we have been blessed once more
And the crew kneels on deck to pray
Thanking God for bringing us home today.
