I believe that friends
Must be heaven sent,
For I have had so many
That have came and went.
I have been truly blest by all
Of the friends sent my way,
I am very thankful for them
Each and every single day.
Each friend I have had has
In some way touched my heart,
And will remain a part of me
Even if life takes us far apart.
I have to say though that
With you I was doubly blest,
Because you, dear friend,
Stand far above the rest!
You truly are an Angel
That God sent to my door,
You are a blessing in my life;
I could never ask for more!
