I needed a place for peace and rest
My life was filled with so much stress
According to God's wonderful scheme
He lead me to this tranquil stream.
God knew this place I needed to see
To become what He wanted me to be
As I walked along this tranquil stream
God let me know this was not a dream.
The beautiful flowers and trees so green
God's hand created this lovely scene
Watching the swans slowly glide
I felt God standing by my side.
I come to this tranquil stream each day
Here I meet with God to pray
I know, by faith, God hears what I say
My prayers will be answered His way.
