So many times we call out to God
When we are tired and in distress
We pray that he will give peace
Calming our heart with a sweet caress.
Our journey is long, no end in sight
So many fears through the night
Again we call God's precious name
And He becomes our guiding light.
God is the first one we should turn to
When troubles come our way
Praying for Him to give guidance
On the path we should take today.
God always smiles when we remember
To let Him know how much we care
Always look up to God and say,
Thank You, as we kneel to pray.
