Dawn arises on this another day
Kneeling I thank God as I pray
I am ready for my day to start
For I have peace within my heart.
Looking out, even the roses look new
Sparkling in the sunlight with dew
Hummingbirds fluttering around
Seeking sweet nectar to be found.
Birds are singing high in the trees
Their music floating through the leaves
The sun rises slowly in the blue sky
As fleecy white clouds move quietly by.
The simple joys of life are for me
Since the grace of God set me free
I give praise and honor for His love
As another day dawns from above.
