Someone cares for us and always will
The world may forget but God loves us still
We cannot go beyond His love
No matter what we are guilty of.
God is a loyal and faithful friend
He keeps forgiving until the end
There is no shelter anyplace
Where we can go and hide our face.
We can never escape God's watchful eye
Not on this earth nor in the sky
God is always present, always there
To hold us with tender loving care.
God hears our prayers and forgives our mistakes
And will be with us when all the world forsakes
All our troubles He is willing to share
God is that someone who does care.
