Beautiful butterflies flying so free
All over my flower garden I see
So many wings fluttering in the air
Their beauty is beyond compare.
As beautiful butterflies flutter by
They never fail to catch my eye
With wings of pink and blue
Some are black and yellow, too.
Beautiful butterflies soar high in the air
Over mountain tops and desert sand
They can make their home anywhere
God cares for them wherever they land.
When the weather begins to turn cold
Flying south the beautiful butterflies go
God will protect them there until spring
Returning them to my garden once again.
