The other day I closed my eyes,
reminiscing about the time we
slow danced in each others’ arms,
your body tenderly holding mine.
The brilliant moon hung above us high,
shone so bright and crystal clear,
and although many others stood around us
we seemed alone, just you and I, my dear.
Our dancing days may now be far
behind us, and there will come
a day when we shall have to part.
But I'll love you my sweetheart,
now and forever and we'll always
be dancing in my heart.
