At first sight, I saw the biker,
Complete with beard and leather.
Yet, never, in a million years,
Could I picture us together.

At first sight, I saw a stranger,
Who scared me half to death.
But, then, I stole a second glance
And it took away my breath.

For, in those eyes was tenderness,
Like I'd never seen before.
At first sight, I would have missed it.
But, the second means so much more.

I would have missed the shyness
And the gentle way you laugh.
Had I quit looking, at first sight,
I'd never have known the half.
