A Real Friend
A real friend will laugh with you and will laugh AT you without it being
offensive.
A real friend will encourage you and yet tell you without hesitation when you
are about to make a mistake.
A real friend will send you a card when you are sick, but will also come to
your house to cook while you are down.
A real friend will listen and cry with you but will also kick you in the butt
when it is time to move on.
A real friend knows your name but also your brothers, sisters, and everything
that is going on in their lives as well.
A real friend knows your dreams and your fears and has enough information
about you to blackmail you good, but wouldn't.
I'm so glad to have a real
friend like you.
