I take my bible and read it each day
Then I bow my head and pray
Reading my bible I get strength to carry on
The beauty of His word helps me on my way.
I feel that God is watching each time I read
I feel in my heart that every word is true
That God takes care of my every need
The beauty of His word says He loves me, too.
My bible, the beauty of His word so dear
Every chapter I read speaks loud and clear
Oh yes, I know that God is always near
And when I pray I know He does hear.
The word of God is never wrong
The love and grace of God is strong
As I read the bible more and more
I am more at peace than ever before.
